Victoria Cross May 1 OFFICIALS urgently needed

HRA members are needed to urgently volunteer as officials for the HRA’s round of the Victorian Club Rally Series (VCRS). As of now, we have 35 positions to fill. Don’t delay – make our organisers happy and offer your support now for Saturday May 1.

Little or no rally official experience is NOT a barrier. Rookies can be accomodated. Get involved – get the most out or your rally club by turning up and lending a hand. You WILL love it!

All HRA members are invited to participate – it’s OUR round and it’s close to Melbourne. Based at the Broadford Motorcycle complex, the Victoria Cross will start at sunset on Saturday May 1. The field limit is 70. You will see Victoria’s top rally crews at close quarters as well as a healthy contingent of the HRA’s Resto Country Spares Standard Car Class competitors. (You may cheer.)

Big night of awards at the April 14 club night

The April 14 HRA Club meeting is going ahead at the Matthew Flinders Hotel, 667 Warrigal Road, Chadstone from 8.00 pm.

If you have done well enough at last year’s Bagshot Rallysprint or the George Woods Rally to win a trophy, come along and be awarded it. You will all be very welcome. Bagshot winners are listed below:

Resto Country Spares Standard Car Class Bulletin

Hi all.

Welcome to another year of competition in the Standard Car Class. Hopefully better than last year and we are now at last years point..! One Rally down…George Woods..!

The George Woods Rally – 20 February 2021

HRA members are invited to participate in the HRA George Woods Rally on 20th February 2021.

Start, Finish and Service are at the Powelltown Recreation Reserve. The field is limited to only 40 competitors, get your entry in early to avoid missing out.

To suit the new competitor and other novices, the same as the 2020 George Woods Rally, the event will be a Special Stage Rally Regularity, designed to ensure that maximum speeds achieved by crews are actively controlled. This allows essentially unmodified road cars to participate. This minimises the risk, allowing a crew to experience a real rally without going to the expense of roll-cage, special seats, harnesses and FHR.

This event is also the first round of the HRA Resto Country Spares Standard Car Class. Entries are open to all HRA Grade A, B and C crews providing they are driving a log-carded Standard Car as defined by the HRA.

More officials are required at the event, please volunteer to support the first HRA event for 2021. HRA members and friends are invited to see the event up close by offering to be a Road Closure Official. No past experience required.

Victoria Cross Rally on again in 2020

The HRA will again be conducting the Victoria Cross Rally in the Mt Disappointment Forest in 2020. Saturday 2 May is the scheduled date.

The Victoria Cross will comprise a special stage rally that is a round of both the HRA Rally Championship and the Victorian Club Rally Series, and a Rally Regularity event that will be a round of the HRA Standard Car Class Championship.
