All members are invited to come to the first “Breakfast with the Cars”.
This will take place at Assettini Espresso, 600 Waverley Road, Malvern East commencing at 7.00am.
Come and enjoy a fun breakfast with fellow club members in a great relaxed setting while chatting cars.
Bring your partners for a nice Sunday morning social get together in a nice relaxed atmosphere.
We are hoping that this may the first in a series of casual get togethers so come and enjoy some great easy time with fellow members.

Special guest speaker Loretta Smith, author of ‘A Spanner in the works’
Don’t miss this week’s HRA meeting. Amongst other things we have Melbourne author Loretta Smith talking about her book ‘A spanner in the works’ which brings to life the amazing story of Alice Anderson and Australia’s only ‘all-girl’ garage. As Melbourne’s best known woman in the 1920’s, Alice did so many amazing, pioneering things that we will hear about at the meeting.
The book has also been made into a play, ‘Garage Girls’ which has just finished a sell out season at La Mama theatre in Carlton.
Come dressed to suit the theme… white shirt, black tie and khaki pants! Bring the family!

Attention all Historic Rally Association members!
Get ready for a night of high-speed fun at our upcoming Slot Car Racing event. As promised, we have organized an evening of racing excitement that you won’t want to miss.
The event will take place on Thursday, May 11th, at Mr Slot Car in Hallam.
The racing will take place on the 8-lane track downstairs from 7 pm to 8.30 pm. The cost to attend is only $25, and hot food will be provided by the HRA. Drinks can be purchased at the venue.
To make the evening even more exciting, we encourage everyone to come up with a racer name. It’s a chance to get creative and have some fun. If you’re planning to attend, please let us know via message, email or call 0414 560 688.

The inaugural Autumn Glory Tour is 3 day non-speed, non-timed Touring & Navigation Assembly. It runs Friday 5th to Sunday 7th May when the glorious autumn leaf colour of the region will be on full display for the event. Entry is open to anyone who would like to participate, in any registered car.
The event tours along open public roads with loops each day from event HQ in Albury. Friday’s route takes in the famous autumn colours of Bright, Mt Beauty and Beechworth, while Saturday sees you enjoy the panoramic scenery of the Upper Murray including a foray into NSW and the town of Tumbarumba. The Tour’s showpiece day is the Sunday when you’ll tour the length of the Great River Road along the Murray River as far as possible on bitumen – it’s a driving experience not to be missed through some incredible country.
