A message from the Clerk of Course…
On behalf of the Directing team, I would like to thank everyone who came out and braved the weather on Saturday. We had 20 crews for the day which is a good number of crews, of course we would always like more.
We would also like to thank the Pakenham Car Club for allowing us to utilize their grounds again and putting on breakfast and lunch again.
Provisionally, the results are:
- 1st Outright – Upton & Laidlay Missing just 1 Via for the day
- 2nd Outright – Murphy & Garrad Missing 4 Via’s for the day
- 3rd Outright – Otzen & Franklin Missing 6 Via’s for the day.
Standard Car Class provisional results are:
- 1st SCC – Upton & Laidlay Missing just 1 Via for the day
- 2nd SCC – Murphy & Garrad Missing 4 Via’s for the day
- 3rd SCC – Canals & Floyd Missing 8 Via’s for the day
Attached below are full Provisional Results, as well as solutions for both Sections.
Thanks must also go to the road crews of Rob and Scott who set-up and swept section 1, Ray and Jess who set-up and swept section 2 until Via13, John and Adrian who setup section 2 from Via 13 till the finish. Rick and Pauline, who not only did zero/checker duties for the day, but also swept the second half of section 2. Finally we really must thank JD and Mark who spent the day in the elements down at the Via 13 passage.
Once again many thanks to all who have helped the event happen this year. We have put an application in for next year, so we hope to see you all Down the Drains again next year.
